Jalan Ampang Pedestrian Bridge and Bus Stop

As part of the Jalan Ampang Redevelopment initiative in Kuala Lumpur, RFY Group was entrusted with the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, and installation of a bespoke unitised roof façade system for the pedestrian bridge and bus stop. This development was undertaken in support of Malaysia’s chairmanship of ASEAN 2025, reflecting the nation’s continued commitment to progressive infrastructure and urban connectivity.

The roof design draws inspiration from the iconic “Kapal Korek” (tin dredge), paying tribute to Kuala Lumpur’s rich heritage as a historic mining town. Interpreted through a contemporary architectural language, the structure features a distinctive geometric composition of triangular laminated safety glass integrated with precision-fabricated aluminium solid panels. Engineered secondary steel supports ensure structural integrity, durability, and long-term performance within a demanding urban setting.

This project demonstrates RFY Group’s capability to translate cultural narratives into modern façade solutions — combining advanced engineering, manufacturing excellence, and construction technology to deliver infrastructure that is both functional and symbolically meaningful, reinforcing our commitment to Building Excellence, Globally.
